The first set of Sagano was produced in Denmark on a CNC machine. So we received 320 Sagano that where untreated. This gave os a great the opportunity to experiment. I often feel designers have a relaxed approach to the finish of a product. Simply because it's the last part of the process. In my opinion: choice of finish is underrated. It determines how the product feels to touch as well as the durability.
OIL protects the wood well, and is easier for the manufacturer to apply, but SOAP keeps the wood the natural color.
